Get Involved

There are several ways to get involved and contribute to the important International humanitarian aid that Medicine in Action is providing to underdeveloped countries. First, you can donate money. Monetary donations are always appreciated. Almost all of your donations will reach the patients. We keep overhead costs very low since our volunteers pay their own way to participate in the missions. If you are a corporation or a business, please visit our Corporate Sponsorship page. Whether you are a corporation, foundation or an individual, you can donate to the Patient Care Fund or to the Sugar Scholars program which will pay for medical students so that they can develop global sensitivity by going on medical mission trips to underdeveloped countries.

Or perhaps you would like to join us on a medical mission as a volunteer. We welcome all volunteers whether or not they have medical experience. This medical volunteer opportunity includes volunteer doctors and other medical and non-medical volunteers. There is always something to contribute. There is also an opportunity for people to add time to their trip and enjoy the beauty of these countries by touring them after the mission trip.

Perhaps you have always wanted to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro? We have a unique opportunity available to both help Medicine in Action and provide an exciting guided journey up Mt. Kilimanjaro. We have an expedition leaving in September 2009, which you can join by fundraising……
